Ft. Worth Gazette August 11, 1893 The body of Mrs. Cory Dobbins, wife of a well known farmer of Van Alstyne, was found in the well near her residence. It is supposed that while drawing a bucket of water the pulley gave way, and she was thrown forward into the water.
