ANNA - Services for Jeffie William Cripps, 65, retired farmer who died Tuesday at a Wichita Falls hospital, will be held at 2 pm Thursday at the Flesher Funeral Home Chapel in Van Alstyne, conducted by Donald Griffith, minister of the First Christian Church in Van Alstyne, and the Rev. Joel Pitts.
Burial will be at the Van Alstyne Cemetery.
He was born in Texas, the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Ike Cripps. He married Onlee Miller on July 10, 1958 at Sherman. He was a member of the First Christian Church in Van Alstyne.
Surviving are his wife; a daughter, Mrs. Juanita Pell of Anna; a son, Thomas V. Miller of Anna; his sisters, Mrs. Bessie McDonough of Howe, Mrs. Hallie Hopkins of Van Alstyne, and Mrs. Autry Cathering Wallen of Garland; his brothers, Lonnie Cripps of Van Alstyne, Leon Cripps of Howe; Clyde Cripps of Fort Worth; and I. B. Cripps of Garland, five grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
The family will be at the funeral home from 7 to 8 p.m. Wednesday.
