FORT WORTH - Services for Johnnie Clyde Cripps, 71 year old retired employee of Dub Shaw Ford Co. who died Monday at a Fort Worth hospital, will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. Thursday at Flesher Funeral Chapel in Van Alstyne, conducted by Rev. Johnny Irish, a Methodist minister.
Burial will be at Van Alstyne cemetery.
Mr. Cripps was born in Texas, son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Ike B. Cripps, and married Allene Sitton on Sept. 12, 1959, in Fort Worth. He was a member of the Van Alstyne Methodist Church.
Surviving are his wife, of Fort Worth; son, Donald Clyde Cripps of Sharon, Pa.; a daughter, Mrs. Sue Cripps McClain of Bossier City, La.; brothers, Lonnie Cripps of Van Alstyne, Leon Cripps of Howe, and I. B. Cripps of Garland; sisters, Mrs. Bessie McDonough of Howe, Mrs. Auda Katherine Walden of Greenville; four grandhcildren and one great grandchild.
The family will be at the funeral home from 7 to 8 p.m. Wednesday.
