Clayton 1873 - 1957 Sue Leta Clayton 1885 - 1978 Sherman Democrat Thursday, January 12, 1978 VAN ALSTYNE - Services for Mrs. Sue Leta Clayton, 92, Van Alstyne housewife who died Wednesday at a Sherman hospital, will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at Flesher Funeral Chapel. Rev. Donald Griffith of the First Christian Church will officiate. Born in Texas, Mrs. Clayton was a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Ben McComb and married Loren Clayton on Dec. 19, 1907 at Weston. She was a member of the First Baptist Church. Surviving are daughters, Mrs. Quida Petty of Van Alstyne and Mrs. Loleta Theroit of Dallas; sister, Mrs. Ruth James of Chula Vista, Calif.; three grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
