Bowman Rites Scheduled Funeral services for Charles Harris Bowman, 47, a native of Dallas, will be held Thursday in Van Alstyne, Grayson County. Burial will be in Van Alstyne. Bowman died Wednesday in a McKinney, Collin County, hospital after a long illness. Bowman was born in Dallas and worked as a hotel clerk here and in Van Alstyne. He moved to Van Alstyne from Dallas in 1934. He was an army veteran of World War I. Surviving are his wife; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. H. L. Bowman; two brothers, George C. Bowman and Wilbur J. Bowman, both of Dallas; and three sisters, Mrs. J. A. Hugghins, Mrs. G. M. Baskerville, and Mrs. R. Lee Taylor, all of Dallas.
