Ashley Woodworth DeLeon lost her long, courageous battle with cancer. Ashley gained her angel wings on January 29, 2021, surrounded by her loving family, at Medical City Dallas.
Ashley graced the world with her presence on April 17, 1987. Ashley was a loving, devoted mother, daughter, niece, cousin, and friend. She never met a person she did not instantly have a connection with.
Ashley was the only child of Richard and Tammy Woodworth and a dedicated Mother to her two children, Rylee, and Isabel. She graduated Pottsboro High School in 2005. From there, she went on to attend Cosmetology school and graduated in 2008. After many years of fulfilling her dream of making the world beautiful, she went back to school for her degree in business. She was continuing her education when she was diagnosed with cancer.
Ashley is survived by her parents, Richard and Tammy Woodworth of Howe, Tx. Her Children Rylee Woodworth and Isabel DeLeon of Howe, Tx. Honorary sisters Brittni Hayden, Mary Strickland, Lauren Bowden, and Samantha Scott. Uncles Rickie Russell and wife Tammy of Van Alstyne, Tx. Scott Russell
of Weston, Tx. Randy Woodworth and wife Nicol of Sylvan Beach, NY. Aunts Donna Gore and husband Warren of Sulphur Springs, Tx. Patty Hamner and husband Glen of Van Alstyne, Tx. Pam Russell and husband Steve of Anna, Tx. Robin Woodworth of Akins Sc. Rita Cook and husband Fran of Erieville, NY. Ruthie Lowery and husband Ronnie of Cartwright, OK. Many cousins who loved her deeply, second cousins who knew of her as their aunt and so many friends.

Ashley is preceded in death by her grandparents Phillip and Joyce Russell, LeRoy and Ruth Woodworth, Aunt Cindy Russell and Great Cousin, Harley Grace Russell.
The family will receive friends and loved ones’ Friday, February 5, 2021 from 6:00PM to 8:00PM at Scoggins Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at 2:00PM Saturday, February 6, 2021 at Scoggins Funeral Home Chapel, with Jimmy Russell officiating. Burial will follow at the Van Alstyne Cemetery.
