Texas resident, Frank Suarez, 80, peacefully passed away June 15, 2020 a this home in Howe, Texas.  Frank was born in Oviedo, Asturias, Spain on October 4, 1939, son of Filiberto and Edelmira Suarez.
He emigrated to Cuba at the age of 9 where he met his soul mate, Ana, and they were married on July 2, 1961.   In 1968, they immigrated to the United States with their children; and in 1971 they became U.S. citizens - a moment of which he was extremely proud.  Frank worked for many years as an electrician and retired from Anheuser-Busch in 2005.  In 2013 Frank and Ana built their dream home in Howe, Texas, where they enjoyed the remainder of his years.
He is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Ana; daughter, Lourdes; his 3 sons, Frank, Jr., Anthony, and Joe; 8 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
A Rosary was held Friday evening, June 29, 2020 at Scoggins Funeral Home chapel.
A funeral mass was held Saturday morning, June 20, 2020 at the Holy Family Catholic Church, Van Alstyne, Texas.  Burial followed at the Van Alstyne Cemetery.
