George Washington Dhane (G.W.) was born on September 8, 1946 to Clayton and Myrtle Dhane of Caddo Mills Texas. He went to be with the lord on August 12, 2020 surrounded by loving family.
He married LeJeana Bradshaw November 27, 1967 in Oklahoma. He had two children Lynn Dhane of Anna Texas and stepdaughter LeShauna Bradshaw of Tom Bean Texas.
He spent a year serving in the US army he served from 1966 to 1967. He was also a volunteer firefighter for the Anna Fire Department where he volunteered from 1974-1994. While we wasn’t out fighting fires or running fire calls he drove an 18 wheeler for Mahard Egg Farm. Once his health started going downhill, he retired from there. Where he spent many years making up time, he had lost from being gone all the time. He enjoyed fishing with all of his grandsons, to helping work on whatever was broke down at that time but most of all he enjoyed all the company that would come over.
He is survived by one Brother CL Dhane and wife Loraine of Whitewright Texas. Two children son Lynn Dhane and wife Donna, of Anna Texas and stepdaughter LeShauna Bradshaw of Tom Bean Texas. He has ten grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. He has several nieces, nephews, cousins and aunts.
He was proceeded in death by Clayton and Myrtle Dhane. His beautiful bride LeJeana Dhane. Many brothers and sisters. One grandson Cory Dhane and two great grandchildren Landree and Laykin Dhane.
Memorial Service will be Saturday August 22, 2020 12:00 p.m. at Scoggins Funeral Home Van Alstyne Texas.
