Heaven Gained Another Angel Today.

Betty L. McBride, 100, of Anna, Texas, passed away Wednesday, February 5, 2020. She was born January 5, 1920 in Anna, Texas, where she was a lifetime resident. Betty's religious belief was Baptist.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Eddie and America Westdyke; husband, Johnny McBride, Sr.; children - son, Johnny McBride, Jr.; daughter, Connie Whipple; brothers, Cecil Westdyke, Eddie Westdyke, Jr.; and sister, Evelyn Mays.
She is survived by her children - William McBride and wife, LaDonna, of Princeton, Texas; Shirley Barker and husband, Danny, of Wills Point, Texas; Linda Taylor and husband, Jimmy, of Princeton, Texas; Betty Fowler and husband, Jerry, of Council Hill, Oklahoma; Jimmy McBride and wife, Sherri, of Anna, Texas.
Betty enjoyed working at Haggar Slacks for 32 years; in her garden, yard and flowers but most of all she enjoyed being with her family and friends.
Funeral services were held Saturday morning, February 15, 2020 at Scoggins Funeral Home Chapel with Dennis McBride, Gary McBride, Timmy McBride, Mike McBride, Jacky Bailey, Randy McBride, Adam Taylor and James Sapp serving as pallbearers.  Services were under the direction of Scoggins Funeral Home, Van Alstyne, Texas.
