Celina, Texas -- Harper Jane Van Hal passed from this world into the waiting arms of her Heavenly Father on Tuesday, May 22, 2018. Harper was born at 7:15 AM and was 7 lbs. 4.5 oz. and 18” long. Expected to arrive on May 24, 2018, Harper tragically had a complication in her umbilical cord which caused her sweet heart to stop beating.
Harper is survived by her parents, Eric and Alexa Van Hal, and her two big brothers, Hudson and Henry Van Hal. In addition to her immediate family, she is survived by great-grandparents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins. Although the plans of God during this time are incomprehensible, we know that they are good. We find comfort in knowing that sweet Harper Jane was welcomed into the arms of her savior.
Harper’s funeral service will be held 10:00 a.m. Friday, May 25 at Prestonwood Baptist Church’s Faith Chapel, with Dr. Jarrett Stephens officiating. Directly following, a viewing and graveside service will be held for family at Van Alstyne Cemetery.
Services are under the direction of Scoggins Funeral Home & Crematory, 637 W. Van Alstyne, Pkwy. Van Alstyne, TX; 75495. 903-482-5225
