For Bill Atkins, 49

Anna - Funeral services were held at 2:30 p.m. Friday in the First Baptist Church here for Bill Atkins, 49, of Anna, who died at 7:15 a.m. Thursday in a McKinney hospital.
The Rev. Glen Matthews, pastor of the church, will conduct the services. Burial will be in Van Alstyne Cemetery, directed by Flesher Funeral Home.
Mr. Atkins was born Nov. 18, 1912, in Celina, Tenn., the son of Mr. and Mrs. Eliza Joe Atkins.
Survivors are his wife; two daughters, Mrs. Anna Warden of McKinney and Mrs. Jean Burns of Van Alstyne; two sons, Hollis Atkins of Plano and Choice Atkins of Richardson; five grandchildren; three brothers, Jerry Atkins and A. V. Atkins, both of Weston and G. E. Watkins of Van Alstyne; two sisters, Mrs. Jane Harris of Dallas and Mrs. Lillian Davidson of Garland.
