 Addie L. Bledsoe Anderson 30 June 1894 - 9 April 1995 Van
Alstyne - Services for Addie Bledsoe Anderson, 100-year-old Van Alstyne
resident, will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday in Flesher Funeral Home in
Van Alstyne. She died Sunday at Shady Oaks Nursing Home in
Sherman. The Rev. Donald Griffith and Rev. Scott Jordan will officiate. Burial will be in Van Alstyne Cemetery. Mrs. Anderson was born in Alabama, the daughter of Bart Cromer and Ella Atwell Cromer. She was a retired practical nurse and former librarian at Van Alstyne High School. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Van Alstyne. Pallbearers will be Douglas Miller, Robin Tillett, Phillip Tillett, Barry Treadway, Leroy Bledsoe and Guy M. Whetstone. Surviving are her daughters, Alma Jean Miller of Dallas and Bobbie Neil Tillett of Van Alstyne; nine grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
