Mr. McKnight died Thursday, March 3, 2005, in Irving. Burial will follow at Van Alstyne Cemetery. Surviving are his son, Scott McKnight of Kingwood, Texas; daughters, Susan Drake of Dallas and Judy Coppinger of Greenville; sister, Ann Friday of Arlington; and seven grandchildren.
