Gwendolyn Marr, 81, of Van Alstyne, Texas went to be with her Heavenly Father Tuesday, April 28, 2020 at the Medical City Plano Hospital.  She was born February 20, 1929, daughter of Mac and Ona McMenamy in Sherman, Texas.  Gwendolyn was a loving and caring person and will be missed by all who knew her.
Gwendolyn is survived by her son, Anthony Marr; daughters, Debbie Hill and Beverly Holcomb; brothers, Charles and Larry McMenamy; and sister, Kathy Rogers Ferrl; 12 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-grandchild.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Louis Marr; sons, Reggie and Foy Lynn Mar; and grandson, John Hill.
Graveside services for Gwendolyn were held Saturday morning, May 2, 2020 at the Van Alstyne Cemetery.  Services are under the direction of Scoggins funereal Home, Van Alstyne, Texas.. - - - Scoggins Funeral Home
