Van Alstyne - Services for Mrs. Nina Sweeney, 61, a retired Fort Worth sales clerk who died Sunday at a Fort Worth hospital, will be held at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday at Flesher Funeral Home, conducted by Grady Langford, Church of Christ minister, and the Rev. Jerry Scott of the First Christian Church.
Burial will be at Van Alstyne Cemetery.
Born at Granbury, she was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. L.W. Stewart, and married Leo Stewart on Sept. 8, 1936, in Sherman.  She was a member of the First Christian Church.
Surviving are her husband; sister, Mrs. Jewell Vineyard of Van Alstyne; and brother, Eugene Stewart of Plano.
The family will be at the funeral home from 7 to 8 p.m. Monday.

Fort Worth - Leo G. Sweeney, 79, of Fort Worth, died Monday, Feb. 5, 1996, at his residence in Fort Worth.
Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday in Van Alstyne Cemetery in Van Alstyne, Texas. Pastor Ollin Collins of Harvest Baptist Church in Watauga will officiate.
Huff Funeral Home of Whitesboro has charge of arrangements.
Mr. Sweeney was born on April 27, 1916, in Sherman, Texas, the son of the late Thomas F. Sweeney and Celia Davenport Sweeney. He married Bettye Haggard on May 23, 1980, in Glen Rose, Texas.
He was a retired truck driver, and was a member of the First Christian Church.
Surviving are his wife, Bettye Sweeney of Fort Worth; son, Larry Smith of Fort Worth; son and daughter-in-law, Gary and Wendy Smith of Arlington; sister and brother-in-law, Betty and Frank Brown of Lake Texoma, Texas; sister, Mary Ruth Wellington of Lake Texoma, Texas; brother and sister-in-law, Tommy and Stella Sweeney of Haltom City; brother, Otis Sweeney of Fort Worth; step-brother, Roy Trammel of Conway, Ark.; one grandson, Jesse Smith of Arlington; several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews.
