Mary A. Glazebrook
1852 - 1921

Miss Mary Agnes Gee, born July 25, 1852, came to Van Alstyne in 1880. Married 16, 1875. Two children, Leon and Lona, died in infancy. Was married to Horrace S. Glazebrooke. After Mr. Glazebrook's death,
she returned to her fomer home in Tompkinsville, Ka., and looked after rearing two sisters and a brother: Mrs. Florence Silvey, of San Antonio; Mrs. L. R. Welker now of Van Alstyne; and Clyde Gee now living in state of Kansas. Joined Christian church when 11 years old; member 58 years.

Funeral services Tuesday, November 14/15, 1921 at Welker residence. Burial in Van Alstyne Cemetery.

Is survived by: 5 sisters and three brothers: Mrs. Cora Bailey, living in Kansas, Mrs. Florence Silvey, San Antonio; Mrs. L. P. Welker, VAn Alstyne (Nora); Clyde, Pete and John Gee, living in Kansas.
