FINAL RITES SPOKEN FOR JAMES L. CAVE TUESDAY AFTERNOON
Funeral services for James L. Cave, were held from the residence of his sisters, Mrs. John W. Drye and Miss Nannie Cave, Tuesday afternoon at 3 p.m.  The Rev. Frank Johnston, assisted by the Rev. E. Lee Stanford, officiated.  Interment was in the Van Alstyne Cemetery with the Fox-Fanning Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
A special song service was rendered by Miss Juanita Hayes, Mrs. O.S. Yoder, Mrs. T.S. Cartwright, L.A. Cartwright and Raymond Veazey.
The deceased was the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. W.H. Cave.  He was born in Sherman and spent most of his life in Van Alstyne and Dallas.
Mr. Cave was employed at the time of his death by a Furniture company at Tyler.  He was found dead Monday morning when he failed to report for work.  The body was brought overland by L.K. Fox.
Pallbearers were O.S. Yoder, Gus Lewallen, Orr Stinnett, Lewis Hunter, Roscoe Garver, Royce Cannon and Robert Drye.
