Howe, Texas -- Wallene F. Bailey, 89, of Howe, Texas went to be with Jesus and her family September 1, 2015. Born to Helen Marie Pfile Brumme and Walter Brumme in San Antonio, Texas on December 21, 1925, she was a graduate of Grayson County College, with a degree in Nursing and worked at Wilson N. Jones Hospital, in the Nursery, for 10 years in Sherman, Texas. 

She is survived by her daughter; Helen Bailey, of Howe, TX; sons; Lee Bailey and wife Sharon, of Wichita Falls, Texas; Lynn Bailey and wife DeEtta of Collinsville, Texas; Wayne Bailey and wife Kim of Covington, Kentucky; and Stephen Bailey and wife Donna of Port Arthur, Texas; she had 11 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband; Chester Bailey; son, Douglas Bailey; and her parents.

Wallene, will be sorely missed by her family and friends.

Family will receive friends at Scoggins Funeral Home September 4, 2015 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. 

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, September 5, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at Scoggins Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Roger Tidwell officiating. Burial will follow at Van Alstyne Cemetery.
