LITTLETON WILKINS DIES; FUNERAL SET

VAN ALSTYNE - Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Sunday in the Morning Chapel CME Church here for Littleton Wilkins, 87, Van Alstyne Negro who died Friday in a Sherman hospital.
Rev. E. E. Dykes, pastor of the church, will conduct the services.  Burial will be in Van Alstyne Cemetery, directed by Grayson Funeral Home, Sherman.
Wilkins was born Jan. 16, 1878 in Midway, the son of David and Harriet Wilkins.  He had lived in Van Alstyne since 1898.  In 1904, he married Miss Nova Totton here.  He was a member of the CME Church.
Survivors are his wife; two daughters, Mrs. Edna Scott and Mrs. S. P. Stinnett, both of Van Alstyne; nine grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
