Services for Eldon Leon Wesson, 74, of Van Alstyne were held Friday in Flesher Funeral Home with burial in Van Alstyne Cemetery. He died March 29 in Medical Plaza Hospital in Sherman.
Mr. Wesson was born in Texas, a son of Mr. and Mrs. Kenny Wesson, and married Marguerite Johnson
on July 3, 1937 in Durant, Okla. He was a retired grocer and farmer and a member of the Elmont Baptist Church.
Surviving are his wife; sons, Edwin Wesson of Irving and Wayne Wesson of Farmersville; sister, Ruby Dedmon of Fort Worth; and eight grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Loren Ferguson, Carl Lay, Ted Morrison, Bob Meddeers, David Barton and Arlie Vineyard.
