Gerald Ray Warren, age 72 of Princeton, Texas passed away Sunday, July 5, 2015 in McKinney Texas. Gerald was born November 9, 1942 to Cecil D. Warren, and Doris Brinlee Warren in McKinney Texas. On February 1, 1963 he married Lynda Slater in Grain Valley Missouri.

He is survived by his wife Lynda Warren, sons; Jimmie Warren, Mark Warren, Carey Warren, daughter Teresa Howle, brothers; Darrell Warren, Jerry Warren, sisters; Marilyn Bench, Lesa Sperling, step-sister; Beverly Henson, step-mother Zella Warren, 6 grandchildren, and 4 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents Cecil and Dorris Warren Whitlock, and brothers Dwight and Glenn Warren.

Funeral service will be 10:00am Friday, July 10, 2015 at the Scoggins Funeral Home Chapel in Van Alstyne with Pastor Mark Fletcher officiating, burial will follow at the Van Alstyne Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday, July 9, 2015 from 5:00pm until 8:00pm at the funeral home.
