Mrs. Della Ward was born in Collin County, Texas. She met and married Elmer Ward.
She leaves three sons; Beverly Stinnett, Los Angeles, California; P.M.Stinnett, Van Alstyne; Cleo Stinnett, Van Alstyne; one sister, Mattie Lewis, Denton; three brothers, Hugh Lee Wilson and Mallie D. Wilson, Pilot Point, and A.W.Wilson, Denton; and six grandchildren.

VAN ALSTYNE - Graveside services for Elmer Ward, 100, who died June 25, 1993, at Wilson N. Jones Memorial Hospital in Sherman, will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Van Alstyne Cemetery.
He was born May 16, 1893 in Van Alstyne, a son of Ben and Nanny Ward. He married I.B.McCollum, who preceded him in death. He was a member of Morning Chapel C.M.E. Church in Van Alstyne.
Survivors include one brother, James L. Ward, of Los Angeles; one granddaughter, Betty Frazier Wells
of Capitol Heights, Md.; five great-grandchildren and 11 great-great-grandchildren.

Smith Memorial Chapel is assisting with the service.
