Ollie Ray Walker Dies
In Sherman Hospital

Van Alstyne - Funeral services will be held Saturday at 10 a.m. in First Baptist Church in Van Alstyne for Ollie Ray Walker, 63, retired farmer and janitor for our schools here. He died Thursday night at a Sherman hospital.
Rev. Herman Mayo of Grand Prairie, Methodist minister, will officiate, assisted by Rev. Jimmy Duckworth of Van Alstyne. Burial will be in Van Alstyne Cemetery directed by Fox-Flesher Funeral Home.
Mr. Walker was born in Van Alstyne, a son of Jimmy and Sarah Marr Walker. He was a member of the Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Erma Walker; four daughters, Mrs. Cecil Lawrence of Wichita Falls, Mrs. Boyce Murphree of Van Alstyne, Miss Betty Walker of Dallas, and Miss Joe Walker of Van Alstyne; three brothers, Bob Walker, Dick Walker of Whitewright and Jack Walker of Fort Worth; a half-brother, J. B. Page, and a half-sister, Mrs. J. F. Cantrell, both of Henryetta, Okla.; and four grandchildren.
