Van Alstyne - Funeral services for J.A. Van Deren, 78, were held at 3 p.m. Thursday at the Van Deren Funeral Home, with burial in Van Alstyne cemetery by the grave of his wife, who died 12 years ago.  Pallbearers were Roscoe Garver, Graley Edwards, Zac Emerson, Van Alstyne; John Clack, Anna; O.V. Estes and Beacher Powell, Sherman.
