 Elizabeth Sunderland 25 August 1818 - 22 October 1887 w/o E. D. Sunderland  J. S. Sunderland 26 February 1819 - 21 February 1889 Dallas Morning News Feb 23, 1889 pg. 6 Van Alstyne, Tex., Feb 21 - Grandpa Sundeyland, an aged and highly respected citizen was buried here this evening. He was a member of the Baptist church and a good Christian worker. He stated to his family just before his death that he was prepared to meet his God and would be glad when death called him from his sufferings.  George O.
