W. T. Streetman, well known here and an old-timer in this part of the state, died last Wednesday at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Will Gattis, three miles South of Gunter, and was buried in the Van Alstyne cemetery Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock. Funeral services were held at the Gattis home conducted by Pastor May of the Methodist church at Celina.
The deceased leaves, besides his daughter, at whose home he died, two sons, Tomp Streetman of this place and Will Streetman of Denison.
He will be missed by his many friends in this community - Gunter Star.

The funeral of Mr. Streetman was attended by a number of the friends of the old days who knew and held him in high esteem. He was a man of high character and in his death this section of Texas has lost a citizen fully worthy and most highly regarded.
