Van Alstyne - Services for Mrs. Robbie G. Sprowl, 64, of Van Alstyne, who died Wednesday at a Denison hospital, will be held at 2:30 p.m. Friday at Elmont Baptist Church, conducted by the Rev. Bob Milligan, the Rev. G.W. Niederhofer, and L.B. Kirby Jr., Baptist ministers.  Burial will be at Van Alstyne Cemetery under the direction of Flesher Funeral Home.
A native of Oklahoma, Mrs. Sprowl was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Gibson.  She married Hoyt Sprowl, Aug. 28, 1928 in Van Alstyne, and was a member of the Elmont Baptist Church.
Surviving are her husband; son, Vincent Sprowl of Van Alstyne; stepmother, Mrs. Pearl Gibson of Howe; sister, Mrs. Tecora Reynolds of Farmers Branch; brothers, Roy Gibson of Denison and Slick Gibson of Sherman; half-brothers Cleo Enochs of Pittsburg, Okla., and Jerry Wayne Gibson of Germany; stepsister, Mrs. Betty Lou Faulkner of Howe; and three grandchildren.
Pallbearers are R.W. Wise, James Gentry, Arch Hanning, Ira Barnes, Jerry Mack Kirby and Arile Vineyard.
The family will be at the funeral home from 7 to 8 p.m. Thursday.
