MRS. MARTHA JANE SNEED
LAID TO REST SUNDAY

Last rites for Mrs. Martha Jane Sneed were held Sunday afternoon at two in the First Baptist Church, conducted by the pastor, Rev.J.O.Duckworth. Pallbearers were Ray Neill, Bill Barrett, Ernest Miller, Leland Reed, Dub Gray and Cecil Thornton. Interment was in the City Cemetery, Flesher Funeral Home directed.
Mrs. Sneed was born in Georgia on Jan. 1, 1883, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Jackson. She passed away at her home here last Friday. She was united in marriage with J.D.Sneed on Dec. 9, 1908. She is survived by her husband, by one daughter, Mrs. R.G.Bleden of Dallas; by two sons, C.H.Sneed of Howe and Alton W.Sneed of Dallas; by one sister, Mrs. Jeffie Satterfield of Bowie; and by four grandchildren.

VAN ALSTYNE, Feb. 16 (SPL). Funeral Services for Mrs. Martha Jane Sneed, 75, who died Friday at her home here, were conducted Sunday at Van Alstyne First Baptist Church. Burial was in the Van Alstyne Cemetery.  Mrs. Sneed has made her home in Van Alstyne 69 years. She is survived by her husband,
J. D. Sneed; one daughter, Mrs. R. G. Belden of Dallas; two sons, C. J. Sneed of Howe and Alton W. Sneed of Dallas; one sister, Mrs Jeffie Satterfield of Bowie, and four grandchildren.

JAMES DANIEL SNEED

Funeral services for James Daniel Sneed were held in the First Baptist Church here Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock, conducted by Rev. J. O. Duckworth, of Mt. Vernon, and the pastor, Rev. J. D. Stewart. Pallbearers were John Daily, Dub Gray, Dick Bowlin, Ernest Miller, Cecil Thornton and John Bowlin. Interment was in the City Cemetery, under the direction of Flesher Funeral Home.
Mr. Sneed passed away Wednesday morning at 3:30 in the Love and Care Rest Home in McKinney. He was born in Tennessee on Oct. 9, 1877. He is survived by two sons, Carlton Sneed of Tom Bean and Alton Sneed of Dallas; and by one daughter, Mrs. Tee Belton of Dallas.
