Tom Bean, Texas -- Sallye Bruce Shedd, 89, of Tom Bean, Texas passed away Tuesday, June 9, 2015 at the Homestead of Denison. She was born October 12, 1925 to Jess Grammer and Ina Burks.

She is survived by her son Terry Wayne Bruce, sister Oneida Hensley,4 grandchildren; Tina Bruce, Eric Bruce, Tonya Montgomery, Jesse Bruce and12 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents Jess and Ina Grammer, husband William John Bruce, and son Gary Bill Bruce.

Graveside service will be 10:00 a.m., Saturday, June 13, 2015 at Van Alstyne Cemetery, with Kerry King and A.C. Quinn officiating. The family will receive friends Friday, June 12, 2015 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Scoggins Funeral Home in Van Alstyne.

Pallbearers will be Eric Bruce, Jesse Bruce, Ricky Garrett, Gary Count, Butch Balzen, and David Brown. You may sign the online register book at www.scogginsfuneralhome.com.
