Mrs. Ruby Elizabeth Rhyne, the daughter of Ben Echols and Julia Echols, was born January 1, 1884 in Tioga, Texas.
She was married to Mr. Rhyne and to this union
9 children were born. They later moved to Van Alstyne, Texas. where she lived for a number of years.
September 4, 1969, she departed this life leaving the following children: Julia Barrow, Denver, Colo.; R.B. Rhyne, Emogene Johnson, Billy Jean, all of Dallas, Texas; Connie Rhyne, Galveston; Cecil Rhyne, Houston; Allie Rhyne, Van Alstyne; 20 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren, and other relatives and friends. She was in Meadow Brook Nursing Home at the time of death.
