 Mac Henry Pope 4 August 1930 - 4 October 2009 Lera Jean Pope 27 May 1933 -   The Herald Democrat October 6, 2009 McKINNEY - Mac Henry Pope, 79-year-old McKinney resident, died Sunday, Oct. 4, 2009 at his home. Services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at Flesher Funeral Home Chapel in Van Alstyne with his sons, Ronnie, James and Rocky Pope officiating. Burial will follow at Van Alstyne Cemetery. Surviving are his wife, Lera Jean Pope; sons, Ronnie Mac Pope of McKinney, James Dudley Pope of Glen Burnie, Md. and Rocky Dale Pope of Mesquite; two sisters; seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Family visitation will be at the funeral home from 6 -8 p.m. Tuesday. Donations may be made to one of the following: Harris Hospice, Cottonwood Creek Baptist Church, Mimosa Lane Baptist Church or Northarundel Church in Glen Burnie, Md.
