Van Alstyne - Weldon Umphress, 78, of Van Alstyne died Sunday, August 20, 1995, at his residence.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, August 22, at 2 p.m. in the Flesher Chapel. Dr. Michael Daves will officiate.  Burial will be in Van Alstyne Cemetery.
Surviving are his wife, Neoma Umphress of Van Alstyne; daughter, Dorothy Kevion of Allen; son Weldon Umphress II of Plano; one grandchild and two step-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. Monday at the Funeral Home and at other times at the family residence.

Neoma Umphress
Van Alstyne - Services for Neoma Umphress, 72-year-old Van Alstyne resident, will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Flesher Funeral Chapel in Van Alstyne.  She died Sunday, January 4, 1998, at Doctors Hospital in Dallas.
The Rev. Jimmy Tarrant will officiate with burial in Van Alstyne Cemetery.
Surviving are her daughter, Dorothy Keylon of Allen; son, Weldon Umphress II of Plano; sister, Virginia Campbell of Lake Palestine; brother, Jess Henry Lamb Jr. of Irving; one grandchild and two step-grandchildren.
The family will be at the funeral chapel from 7 to 8 p.m. Tuesday.
