Funeral services were held at 2:30 o'clock Friday afternoon in the Harris-Horn Funeral Chapel for Mrs. Susan Edith Mottley, 97, who died Wednesday afternoon in Collin Memorial Hospital.  She had lived in McKinney for two years.
Rev. Edward Dowell officiated and burial was in the Van Alstyne Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Garland Polk, Derril Lance, Riley Boren, Bennie Dugger, Bill Christie and Wilbur Thompson.
A native of Folsomville, Ind., she was born August 22, 1868. She was a daughter of Isaiah and Mary Elizabeth Jones Caldwell.  she was a member of the First Christian Church.
Her survivors are a son, Iral Mundy of Evansville, Ind., a daughter, Mrs. Osa M. Bryant of McKinney and daughter-in-law, Mrs. Katie Crocker of Howe...will B.C. Robertson with Mrs. G.B....Mrs. Lloyd Mottley of this city.
Mrs. Mottley was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and two sons, Leroy Mundy of Evansville, Ind., and Dr. Lloyd Mottley, who was pastor of the First Christian Church here at the time of his death a few months ago.
