  VAN ALSTYNE - Graveside services for Edith Lucille Yeagley McKinney, 86, of Lubbock, will be held at
2 p.m. Sunday, March 30, 1997, in Van Alstyne Cemetery.  She died Wednesday, March 26, 1997, at St. Mary's Hospital in Lubbock.  Flesher Funeral Home in Van Alstyne has charge of arrangements.

  Mrs. McKinney was born on March 17, 1911, in San Antonio, Texas, the daughter of Albert S. Yeagley Sr. and Pauline Buttlemann Yeagley.  She attended public school in Sherman, graduating in 1927.  She received her Bachelor's Degree from Austin College and her Master's Degree from Midwestern University of Texas in Wichita Falls.   She married James J. McKinney of Quanah on Feb. 22, 1947, in Sherman, Texas.  He preceded her in death.
  Mrs. McKinney was a member of the First Baptist Church in Lubbock.  She was also a member of Delta Kappa Gamma and served as president for one term.  She taught school in Van Alstyne, Gunter, Sherman, Plano and Quanah.
  Surviving are her daughter, Georgene Reimer of Lubbock; one grandson, James Michael Reimer of Lubbock; one great-grandson, Taylor Reimer of Lubbock; one sister, Pauline Dennis of Sherman; and one brother, Albert Yeagley of Sherman.
