Texas -- Funeral services for William Jamison, 91, of Pottsboro will be
held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 16, 2014 at Scoggins Funeral Home
Chapel in Van Alstyne. Rev. Virgie Holbrook will officiate and
burial will follow in the Van Alstyne Cemetery. The Family will receive
friends Monday night from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Scoggins Funeral
Home. William passed away Saturday, September 13, 2014 at his residence. He was born November 21, 1922 in Clarksville, Texas to Doak and Matilda Krause Jamison. He married Gladys Martin on November 3, 1950 in Sherman, Texas. He was a retired school teacher and coach. William Jamison is survived by his daughter Katye Jamison of Sherman. Daughter and her husband Jerri and Rody Woolls of Hardin, Texas. Daughter: Kathy Baker of liberty, Texas. Grandchildren Hayley Etheridge and husband Hec, Cody Baker and wife Amanda and Jana Woolls. Great-grandchildren: Hayden, Garret, Hallie, Luke and Rylee. William was preceded in death by his parents, wife and a grandson Ryan Woolls. Services are under the direction of Scoggins Funeral Home, 637 W. Van Alstyne Parkway, Van Alstyne, Texas. 903-482-5225.
