VAN ALSTYNE - Graveside services for Kyle Lee Hamons, six-day-old son of Mr. and Mrs. Randall Lyn Hamons of Fort Worth, will be held at 2 p.m. today in Van Alstyne Cemetery. He died Friday at Baylor Hospital in Dallas.
Andy Kizer will officiate, with arrangements by Flesher Funeral Home.
Surviving are his parents; sisters, Amanda Hamons and Jennifer Hamons, both of Fort Worth; grandparents, Kay Sebren of Monroe, La., and Mrs. and Mrs. Dave Hamons of Arlington; and great-grandparents, Wilda Chastain of Paris and Jack Hamons of Howe.




Randall Lynn Hamons, age 57, was born on September 27, 1963, and went to be with the Lord on September 13, 2021 in Mansfield, Texas.
Randy had accepted Jesus as his Lord and Savior and was baptized about a year ago in Louisiana.  He was very proud of that decision.  He was a kind, loving, and generous person, always willing to help anyone.
Randy is survived by his father Dave Hamons and wife Marty of Arlington, Texas; brother Alan Hamons, also of Arlington; maternal grandmother Wilda Chastain and aunt Carol Ludlam of West Monroe, Louisiana; uncle Gary Dobbins of Leonard, Texas; several nieces and nephews, numerous cousins, and a host of friends.
Randy was preceded in death by his mother Diana Kay Dobbins Sebren, infant son Kyle Lee, and brother Damon Higginbotham.
Graveside services will be held at the Van Alstyne Cemetery on Saturday, September 25, at 11:00 a.m. with Aaron Alsbrook officiating.
In lieu of flowers, it is suggested that donations be made to your favorite children’s hospital in Randy’s name.
