Denver Ray Hall Jr. passed away at his home on July 9, 2015, at the age of 76. Denver was born in McKinney Texas on July 15, 1938 to Denver and Oleta Hall. He graduated from Princeton High School in 1958. He married the love of his life Wanda Jo Holland in September 1961. Shortly thereafter he was drafted by the U.S. Army. After receiving an Honorable Discharge he went to work for Texas Instruments for more than 27 years. After his retirement he started working for Foxworth Galbraith in Van Alstyne for more than 12 years. Denver was an avid deer hunter and fisherman. He enjoyed camping and the outdoors, but his greatest pleasure was his family. Denver never met a stranger, and always had a smile on his face, and had something to say that would make you laugh. Denver enjoyed life to the fullest. Denver was a member of the New Life Pentecostal Church in Anna. He loved God and served him with his whole heart.

He is survived by his daughter Lesia and future son in law Bill, son Dennis and wife Trish, granddaughters Mandy and husband Marley, Krista and husband Chase, Shauna and husband Brandon, Kindra Hall, LaChanda Griffin, Kendall Griffin, grandson Matt Hall, great grandchildren Carly, Sadie, Ryder, Shelby and Cade, brothers Willis Hall and wife Lynda, Fred Hall and wife Stella, and many nieces and nephews,

He was preceded in death by his sweetheart Wanda, parents Denver and Oleta, brothers Jerry, Delbert
and R.V. Hall.


Funeral Services will be at 3:00PM, Sunday, July 12, 2015 at the Scoggins Funeral Home in Van Alstyne with Michael Bellm officiating. Burial will follow with Military Honors at the Van Alstyne Cemetery. the family will receive friends Saturday, July 11, 2015 from 6:00PM until 8:00PM.
