    Robert Scott Fulton 12 September 1869 - 24 January 1942 Pearl Drye Fulton 24 June 1872 - 11 January 1961 Dallas Morning News February 7, 1961 State Deaths Mrs. Pearl Fulton Van Alstyne, Texas (Sp.) - Funeral services were conducted Friday afternoon at First Methodist Church here for Mrs. Pearl Drye Fulton, 88, former Van Alstyne resident, who died Wednesday in Austin. Burial was in Van Alstyne cemetery. Mrs. Fulton was the widow of Scott Fulton, publisher of the Van Alstyne Leader. Mrs. Fulton was born in the Pilot Grove community, south of Whitewright. She was a charter member of the Van Alstyne Culture Club. For years she was a trustee in the First Methodist Church and was a district officer in the missionary society.
