Herald May 13, 1908 Dallas, Texas, May 13. – Latest reports from North Texas are that that section of the state has been swept by at tornado of great force. It is reported from Tioga that Henry Krone was killed, and Mrs. H.E. Bowdry is reported killed at Leonard. Fifty houses were partly destroyed at Crandall, and many people were injured. Special to the News. Tioga, Tex., May 12. - Henry Krone, 14 years of age, was killed by lightning about 3 o'clock this afternoon during a terrific thunderstorm. He had started home from school and was struck when about 100 feet from the school building.
