Frieda Paulette Ridinger was the 1st child born to Paul E. and Frances L. Ridinger; she was stillborn.  Mr. Ridinger drove to Tioga to arrange for her burial.  He paid $15 for a family plot.   Freida's grave remained unmarked.  The death of their infant daughter was hard on the couple.   In the 1970s family placed a simple tombstone on her grave.


Lewisville -- Paul E. Ridinger, 63, of Lewisville, died Sunday, November 18, at his
home.
The service was held Wednesday afternoon at Central Baptist Church with Rev. Keith Taylor officiating. Burial was in Tioga, Texas. Pemberton Funeral Home is in charge of local arrangements.
He was born June 4, 1921, in Grayson County, Texas.
Survivors include his wife, Frances Ridinger; five sons, Eugene, Donald Lee, Michael Ray, and jack Richard. all of Lewisville, and Robert Paul of Oklahoma City; a brother, Vertie Ridinger of Lewisville; four sisters, Helen Duff of Lewisville, Edna Hilliard and Ethel Burchett of Tioga, and Elsie Primm of Carrollton; two half brothers, Dennis Baughman of Paris, Texas and Roy Baughman of Arlington; a step-brother Estes Baughman; two step-sisters Vena McKnight of Tioga and Eula Mae Mitchell of Tioga; and eight grandchildren.
Pallbearers are his nephews, Jerry Ridinger, Ralph Ridinger, Billy Ridinger, Randy Ridinger, Jimmy Duff and David Duff; several nephews were honorary pallbearers.


Frances "Frankie" Ridinger


Frankie was born December 4, 1922 in Hill County, Texas. She passed away in her home at 112 Barnett Blvd. #104 in Highland Village, Texas at the age of 89.
The services were held at the Central Baptist Church at 325 S. Cowan Ave., Lewisville, Texas, where she was a long time member on Wednesday morning, officiated by Pastor, Rev. Roy Blair.   Graveside services were held at the place of burial in Tioga Cemetery in Tioga, Texas on Wednesday afternoon.
Frankie is survived by sons and daughters-in-law, Eugene and Sherry Ridinger of Lewisville, Texas; Paul and Kay Ridinger of Lawrenceville, Georgia; Michael and Carolyn Ridinger of Flower Mound, Texas; and Jack and Sharon Ridinger of Flower Mound, Texas. She is also survived by two sisters, Mary McDonald of Cottonwood, Arizona and Betty Warner of Chico, California; by grandchildren Angela Garcia of Flower Mound, Texas; Denise Dial of Austin, Texas; Ren Ridinger of Los Angeles, California; Misty Ridinger of Lewisville, Texas; Kristi Tisdale of Flower Mound, Texas; and Camille Detrick of Duluth, Georgia. Also by a host of nephews and nieces, great-grand children, and great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Roy R. and Catherine Duff; brothers Billy Fred, James, and Charles Duff; sisters Nancy Aday and Wynelle Coleman; by her husband Paul Eugene "Gene" Ridinger; by daughter Frieda Paulette; son Donald Ridinger; and by two grandsons, Raymond Eugene Ridinger and Jack Quincy Ridinger.


Donald Ridinger, age 60, of Lewisville, passed away Friday, December 15, 2006, at his home.

He was born October 30, 1946 in Sherman, Texas, son of Paul Eugene Ridinger and Frances Imogene Duff Ridinger. Donald was a member of Central Baptist Church and worked as a bookkeeper for Porter Tire Company.
Funeral service were held Monday morning, December 18, 2006, at Central Baptist Church, 325 South Cowan in Lewisville. Interment  followed in Tioga Cemetery.  The family request memorial contributions to be made to the American Heart Association.
