"Tiny" Ferguson 14 January 1931 - 26 March 1931 Tioga - Richard Ferguson, 91, of Tioga, died Sunday, July 29, 2001 at Gainesville Convalescent Center in Gainesville. He was born Feb. 23, 1910 in Pikesville, Tenn. to John Thomas and Rosa Lee Keedy Ferguson. He married Dollie Emma Wilson Oct. 31, 1926 in Gunter, Grayson County, Texas, daughter of Henry Haynes and Augusta Wilson. She was born Oct. 21, 1906 in Grayson County, Texas, and died May 29, 1987 in Grayson County, Texas. Buried in Tioga Cemetery, Tioga, Grayson County, Texas. Mr. Ferguson was a carpenter. He was a member of Pilot Grove Baptist Church. A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, July 31, in Tioga Cemetery. Huff/Slay Funeral Home of Pilot Point is in charge of arrangements. Grandsons will be pallbearers. Memorials may be made to the Tioga Snap Center, P.O. Box 48, Tioga, Texas 76271. Survivors include four sons: Richard Ferguson of Collinsville; Billy Ray Ferguson of Sherman; Jim Bob Ferguson of Whitesboro; and Franklin Ferguson of Austin; five daughters: Betty J. Smith, Charlene Ferguson and Darlene Ferguson, all of Tioga; Dorothy Lynn Martin of Collinsville and Nancy Anne Jones of Pilot Point; 18 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
