 SONS OF ISAAC AUSTIN McKNIGHT and ALICE BALLARD  Bernice McKnight 5 July 1922 - 5 January 2023 McCleatus McKnight 13 August 1920 - 27 June 1989 wed 14 July 1941  Bernice Amelia McKnight, 100, of Whitesboro, Texas, passed away on January 5, 2023 in Sherman, Texas. She was born on July 5, 1922 in Kaufman County, Texas, daughter of Henry Andrew Blair and Edna Annie Sanford Blair. Bernice married McCleatus McKnight in June 1941. He preceded her in death in June 1989. She is survived by 3 daughters, Glenda Baker, Judy Wooten and Cleta Jaresh; one son, Jack McKnight; 11 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; 6 great-great-grandchildren; and one brother, Roy Blair. Bernice was preceded in death by her parents and one daughter, Joan Duff. Graveside services were held Monda y afternon, January 9, 2023 at Tioga Cemetery in Tioga, Texas.   Joan McKnight Duff 22 April 1942 - 1 December 2011 Joe Allen Duff 1 May 1941 - wed 4 June 1960 "Parents of Michael Duff & Lori Franklin" The Herald Democrat December 2, 2011 Joan Carroll Duff, 69, of Krugerville, passed away Thursday, December 1, 2011 at Harris Methodist Hospital. She was born April 22, 1942 - McCleatus and Bernice Blair McKnight in Tioga, Texas. Visitation will be Friday evening, December 2, 2011 from 6-7 p.m. at the Slay Memorial Chapel. A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, December 3, 2011, at Midway Baptist Church in Aubrey with burial following at Tioga Cemetery. She is survived by her husband, Joe Duff of Krugerville; one son, Michael Duff of Aubrey; one daughter, Lori Franklin of Sulphur Springs; six grandchildren; one great-grandchild; her mother, Bernice McKnight of Tioga; brother, Jack McKnight of Tioba; sisters: Glenda Baker of Krugerville, Cleta Jaresh of Southmayd, and Judy Wooten of TIoga. Services are under the direction of Terri Slay at Slay Memorial Funeral Center, Aubrey.
