Ivy Huelton McKnight
19 January 1905 - 23 January 1983

Thurman & Huelton's mother, Alice Ballard McKnight, passed away when they were twelve & eighteen years old.  His father Isaac Austin McKnight married his second wife, Leona T. McKnight.
Huelton was a man of few words, was a very hard worker and took good care of his Dad in his last years.  He liked to set on the bench in front of Joe & Nadine's grocery store and drink a Coke when he came into town.

Pauline McKnight passed away May 24, 2011 at Denton Regional Medical Center.  She was born October 9, 1922 in Mineral Springs, Arkansas to Andrew and Tollie Smith.  She moved to Texas in 1939 where she married her husband of 50 years, Thurman McKnight, in Gunter, Texas.  They resided in Tioga, Texas, until they moved their family to Denton, Texas in 1954, where she raised her children and was a homemaker.  She lived in the same home for 55 years.
Pauline was a cherished member of Faith Tabernacle Assembly of God for 57 years.  She was an extremely loving mother, Mammaw, and Mamoo, who is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Vickie and James Good, son and daughter-in-law, Dale and Vickie McKnight, son-in-law, Bill Harpole; grandchildren: Charles Mullen, Marlena McKnight, Stephanie and her husband, Tommy Calvert, Sean and Jeff Harpole; great-grandchildren: Stacy and Aubrey Mullen, Caden and Cooper Calvert, Hailey and Samuel Harpole; four sisters and their husbands: Marie and Jimmy Robertson, Pat and Roy Dean Smith, Jackie and Dan Everett, Sue and David Cassidy.  She is also survived by her beloved "wiener dog", Buster.
She was preceded in death by her husband, her daughter, Joyce Harpole, and two brothers and thre sisters.
Visitation will be held Friday, May 27, 2011 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Mulkey Mason Funeral Homer.  Services will be Saturday May 28, 2011, 10 a.m. at Faith Tabernacle Assembly of God.  Burial will be in Tioga Cemetery.
Pallbearers are Dallas Stevens, Jerry Don Sprabary, Tommy Cravett, Caleb Williams, Josh Williams, and Gerald Brown.  Honorary pallbearer is T.J. Lindenborn.
The family would like to thank Bluebonnet Hospice for all of their loving care.  Donations may be made in her memory to Faith Tabernacle Assembly of God Building Fund, 1101 Audra Lane Denton, Texas 76201.
