Tuesday Rites Set For Mrs. Tollison
Denison - Funeral for Mrs. Sarah Ophelia Tollison, 83, a resident of the Denison area for 78 years, have been set for 11 am Tuesday at the Bratcher Moore Chapel, with the Rev. H.F. Crews, Nazarene pastor, officiating. Burial will be in the Tioga Cemetery.
Mrs. Tollison was born in Oklahoma, but came to Denison at the edge of five. She was educated in Grayson County schools.
Suvivors include one son, H.E. Tollison of Clarendon; one daughter, Mrs. J.A. Garner of Denison, 12 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services for Mrs. Sarah Ophelia Tollison [sic], 83, of Route 3, were held at Bratcher-Moore chapel Tuesday morning with Rev. H.F. Crews officiating.  Interment was in a Tioga  cemetery with Bratcher-Moore in charge.
Mrs. Tollison was born in Oklahoma, January 15, 1872, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Hugh Lockett.  She came to Texas when 5 years of age and had made her home in and around Denison for the past 77 years.  She received her education in Grayson schools.
Her husband died 45 years ago.
Survivors include a son, H.E. Tollison, Clarendon, Texas; a daughter, Mrs. J.A. Garnder, Rt. 3; 12 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
