Sherman Democrat 2 February 1947 Tioga - Funeral services for Miss Rosa Lee Wrather, 76, who died at her home here at 11:30 a.m. Friday, were held at 2 p.m. today at the Tioga Baptist Church, with Elder H.G. Ball officiating. Burial was in Tioga Cemetery, directed by Beck Funeral Home. Miss Wrather was born Oct. 15, 1870 at Murfreesboro, Tenn., the daughter of Starr and Susan Wrather. She came to Texas in 1902 and to Tioga 32 years ago. She had made her home with the Turner family here. She was a member of the Baptist Church. Survivors include three nephews, Charley and Sterling Turner, both of Tioga; and John Turner of Lubbock; and three nieces, Mrs. Nellie Snuggs, Mrs. W.C. Lasater and Miss Lula Turner, all of Tioga.
