    Harold Leon Morris 3 November 1923 - 22 August 2001 PO3 US Navy WWII People's Tribune Tuesday, October 19, 2010 Mildred Isabelle Morris, 79, died at Countryside Nursing Home in Pilot Point, Texas on Saturday, Aug. 15, 2009. She was born Sept. 21, 1929 in Vandalia to Ira and Mabel Kelly Pease. She married Harold Morris Oct. 16, 1947. A graveside service was held Tuesday (today) at 2 p.m., at Tioga Cemetery, Tioga, Texas with the Rev. Luther Slay officiating. She is survived by one son, Roger Morris of East Bend, N.C.; sons-in-law, Ricky Meinen of Pilot Point, Texas and Mike Mays of Aubrey, Texas; one daughter, Barbie Mays of Aubrey, Texas; five grandchildren, Carrie Palmer, Lori Montgomery, Rick Meinen, Krystal Morris, and Ryan Morris; four great-grandchildren, Whitney Watkins, Hayden Palmer, Riley Palmer and Michael Montgomery; two brothers, Leroy and Wayne Pease of Vandalia; four sisters, Viola Makey of Mexico, Leota Craighead of Springfield, Sue Henderson of Vandalia and Dottie Emo of Cedarville, Ill.; and many nieces, nephews, brother and sisters-in-law. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Harold; daughter, Becky Meinen; and great-grandson, Connor Montgomery.
