Johnson 5 November 1940 - 12 May 1942 Denton Record-Chronicle Monday, March 21, 2011 Donald Roy Johnson, 74, of Denton, passed away Saturday at his home. He was born May 8, 1936 in Tioga to Herbert A. Johnson and Marie West Johnson. He attended Denton High School and married Peggy Ann Coin on October 8, 1963 in Denton. He was a veteran from the US Army. He was a member of the Full Gospel Family Worship Center. Don was a retired Supervisor and Sr. Engineer for Bell Helicopter. The family will be at DeBerry Funeral Directors Tuesday night from 6 to 8 p.m. for visitation. The family requests memorials be made in lieu of flowers to the Full Gospel Family Worship Center. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. at the Full Gospel Family Worship Center with Rev. Jack Howard officiating. Burial will be at the Tioga Cemetery in Tioga, Texas. He is survived by his wife Peggy Ann Johnson of Denton; daughters: Darlene Strough of Berryville, AR; Andrea Johnson Denton; sons: D.W. Johsnon of Denton; Tony Johnson of Denton; Skip Johnson of Cedar Park; sisters: Opal Patterson of Throckmorton; Edith Molck of Greenville; Rose Sanderson of Greely, Colorado; Valda Brown of Gallup, Minnesota; Clara Copeland of Memphis, Texas; Patsy Smith of Burleson; Kay Howard of Delta Count; brother: Clyde Johnson of Albuquerque, New Mexico; 11 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
