  Sister Georgiana Allenback (Catholic Nun) 16 March 1888 - 25 June 1934 She
joined the Sisters of Charity and for years was an expert pharmacist at
Providence sanitarium, Mobile, Alabama. Her health failing, she
moved to St. Vincent's sanitarium for rest and recuperation, though her
condition grew steadily worse. Her brother, Rev. Joseph Allenbach, C.M., died in Dallas, Texas in 1910. Although funeral arrangements were incomplete when the obituary appeared in the local paper, funeral services were to be held at St. Vincent's Sanitarium Chapel. Obituary published in the Sherman Democrat on 25 June 1934. Sister Georgianna (Miss Annie Allenbach), was born in New Orleans, Louisiana. Twenty-eight years of service to humanity ended when she succumbed to a lingering illness at St Vincent sanitarium in Sherman, Texas.
