Donald Eugene Stolle
3 June 1930 - 19 March 1991

Mr. Stole was born in Columbus, Ohio, the son of Edward Joseph St. Claire Stolle and Dorothy Agnus Hayes Stole. He died in Dallas, Texas.
He graduated from Bullis Preparatory School in Silver Springs, Maryland, attended the U.S. Naval Academy and graduated from the University of Houston with a degree in mechanical engineering.
He married Ms. Vanda George on 27 August 1955 in Houston, Texas. Donald was a member of the Roman Catholic Church.
Mr. Stolle represented the United States at international conferences and received a special presidential citation from the president of the Philippines in 1962. He also served as technical adviser to the United Nations.
He was a member of the Texas Society of Professional Engineers and was licensed in quality assurance. He was a pioneer in on-stream inspection and had 13 international patents.
Mr. Stole retired as chief executive office of a computer software company he established.
He was survived by his wife; mother of Woodland, Texas; sons, Brian Donald of San Jose, California, and Mark Eugene Stole of Plano, Texas; daughters, Joan Louise French of Winston, North Carolina, and Marcia Ann Smith of Sherman, Texas; brothers, MAJ Thomas Joseph Stolle of Spring, Texas and LCDR Edward St. Claire Stolle of Virginia Beach, Virginia; and five grandchildren.
Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at St. Mary's Catholic Church, with Rev. Thomas Speiser of St. Mary's and Reverend James Garrard of St. Stephen's Episcopal Church officiating.
