Sally was born in Gunter, Texas to John and Elizabeth (Roeder) Fallon and passed from this life in Sherman, Texas at the age of 83.
On 21 August 1952, she married James "Bud" McCullough at
St. Mary's Catholic Church, Sherman. James and Sally had been married 47 years when he died.
Sally was a beloved wife, mother, sister, a farmer and rancher, and a baker of delicious apricot pies. She was a grandmother and a great-nan, many times over. She loved God, her family, church, mowing her yard, and a good clearance sale. She loved babies, especially her own. She hated injustice, mice, and cats – unless they were catching mice. She was extraordinary in all the ways that matter. Her name was Sally McCullough and she was our mother.
Sally was preceded in death by her parents; husband, James (Bud) McCullough; daughter, Barbara Eileen; sisters, Mary Horak, Florence Day and "Net" Jeanette Henderson; brothers, Charles Fallon, Bill Fallon, and Eddy (Bub) Fallon.
She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Pat and Terri McCullough; daughters and sons-in-law, Libby and Randy Griffin, Teresa and Jim Colvin, Mary and Keith Utley, and Margaret Stegal; 12 grandchildren, Tiffany Griffin, Jennie and Jeremy Bullard, Laura and Jose Zagala, Amy and Justin Lewis, Ann Marie and James Rutledge, Kim McCullough, Emily McCullough, Brian Utley, Katie and Lance High, Erin and Chase Condor, Charlie Stegal, Eric and Libbie Stegal; 19 great-grandchildren, Jonathon, Megan, Nick and Luke Bullard; Marc, Molly, and Brian Zagala; Jacob, Katelynn and Avery Lewis; Olivia, William, and Samuel Rutledge; Selah, Alycia, Lydia, Malachi and Elijah High, and McKenzie Condor; three expecting great-grandchildren, Kinsey Stegal and Benjamin Lewis (in Jan.), and baby girl Utley (in April). Sally is also survived by sisters, Etta Klumpyan and Delia Fallon; brother-in-law, Jim Henderson; sisters-in-law, Connie Fallon and Lillian Fallon; and many nieces, nephews, extended family; and two dear caregivers, Peggy Broach and Sue Simms.
A Rosary
was recited at
Waldo Funeral Home, Chapel with Deacon Albert Miller officiating.
A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at  St Mary's Catholic Church, with Revs. Jeremy Myers and Antonio Aureus officiating.
Interment
followed at St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery with grandsons Brian Utley, Charlie Stegal, Eric Stegal, great-grandson Jonathon Bullard, and friends Tim and Tom Gullett serving as casket bearers.
The family requests donations be made in Sally's honor to Home Hospice of Grayson County, 505 W. Center St., Sherman, TX 75092.
Services under the direction of Waldo Funeral Home.
